AmeriHeart inflatable heart

A Heart Two Stories Tall!

Yep. I.U. Health-Morgan Hospital will have an inflatable two-story heart that patrons may walk through to learn more about how it works. Well, you have to put air into it . . . Oh, wait. They mean how the heart works, not how the inflatable model works.

Plus you get to walk through it!  That gives the phrase cardio-walking a whole new twist.

Anything that large has got to be fun to romp around in! If you can attend, by all means do. You’ll learn more about your heart and get some important health screenings to boot.

The Indiana Blood Center will be stopping by on August 17 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM to accept blood donations.  The library is so fortunate to be partners with the Indiana Blood Center, and to be helping with saving lives in our community.  To sign up, you may come to the library, and we will put you on the list, or you can visit: http://www.indianablood.org for more information.  We ask ages 13 and older to attend.  If you are 13-17 years old, we ask for you to be accompanied by parent/guardian, or to have a parent/guardian write a signed statement.  We look forward to seeing you at the library, but more importantly we are grateful for you giving a bit of your time to help save lives.
